Is Ulydor compatible with my telephone system?
Ulydor is compatible with almost all telephone systems that operate with analogue telephones and are able to send DTMF tones.
If needed, can I upgrade Ulydor in the future?
Yes you can. Ulydor can be upgraded with up to 64 buttons without a keypad, and up to 18 buttons with a keypad. If you think it is likely that the system will be upgraded in the future, we advise that a larger mounting box is bought initially, with Blanking Modules (BLK) or Name and Number Modules (NNM) being used in the spaces. Thus giving you the space to upgrade in the future.
Do I need a power supply to use Ulydor?
A power supply is only required when there is a need to operate the relays, the backlight and board heater.
How many amps do I need to power Ulydor?
If you are using one power supply just to power Ulydor, you only need 300 mA to operate the relays, backlights and boardheater.
Can I use 64 buttons and a keypad?
No. The keypad can only be used in conjunction with up to 18 buttons.
How do I go into programming mode via DTMF?
To go into programming mode you need to know the extension number of Ulydor. Once you know that, from any telephone on the network call the door entry extension, when it answers press # followed by the password (default is 0000) in the first 10 seconds. If you don't know the password, in the back of the unit there is the Service Jumper, connect that jumper and when you call the extension of Ulydor you will be immediately in programming mode.
How can I change the extension that a button dials?
You can do it via PC or via DTMF tones. The easiest way is via DTMF tones. Before you start you need to know what the extension of Ulydor is, the number of the button that you want to program and the extension that you want it to dial.
Then from any telephone on the network dial into Ulydor. Once it answers press:
- #0000 (or the password if it was changed);
- 1 followed by the number of the button and the extension;
- wait for a tone;
- 2 followed by the number of the button and the extension;
- wait for a tone;
- press 9 to hang up.

How do I program the keypad?
